Introduction

Simple and easy dip to make as a snack or to bring to a party or tailgate.  Delicious with crackers or tortilla chips.  You can add a jalapeno as well to give it some additional spice (I would call this mild as-is).  I usually serve mine cold, but you can gently heat in a small pot or microwave if you want to warm it up.

Total Time: 5 – 10 minutes

Ingredients

2   15 oz. cans black beans, drained and rinsed
3    Tbsp. olive oil
1     Tbsp. chili oil
2    Tbsp. lime juice
2    tsp. cumin
1     tsp. garlic powder
1     tsp. onion powder
1     tsp. salt
2    Tbsp. garlic (about 4 cloves)
2    tsp. dry cilantro
¼    cup water

Instructions

•  Add all ingredients to a large food processor and process until smooth (a couple of minutes, scraping down the sides as needed).

•  Transfer to a bowl and enjoy!
